Welcome to WSTO TV!
The City of Stoughton Information Technology and Media Services Department operates WSTO TV. WSTO TV is your source for local content including local government meetings, school concerts, local events and more.
WSTO TV first went on the air in 1968 and is currently the oldest continually operating community cable channel in the United States. Since 1968 WSTO TV has been connecting our community through television and online media to the events in the city. WSTO TV strives to cover as many local events as possible as long as we are made aware of the events, preferably two weeks in advance. WSTO TV is a public access media center where citizens can produce their own content for broadcast and web viewing in a state of the art facility.
We cover a wide range of programming including gavel-to-gavel coverage of Stoughton City Council, Planning Commission and Municipal Court, Stoughton Area School District events, local events and parades and more.
We strive to ensure our equipment is the best we can provide as funding allows. WSTO TV currently operates a HD Television Studio with Green Screen and Virtual Set Capabilities, HD Non-Linear Edit Suites, a HD Remote Production Box and a HD, Wireless SlingStudio.
We also provide services to the community.
